When we were asked to create a publication to showcase the evolving work in the Helmet series by artist Gary Chapman, we wanted to make sure that the layout played a secondary role by supporting the art. In order to achieve this vision, we created a publication that focused entirely on the art and accompanying photographs. The body of work was accentuated with two spreads that highlighted the mission statement and an essay on the unique series.
